Pillars of Eternity 1

Pillars of Eternity 1
Rating: 9/10

Really good isometric CRPG. Reminds me a lot of the Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate games, but with a unique world setting that is quite different than Faerûn/Toril. Highly recommended. I spent about 60 hours on my play through, and there was a bunch of side content that I didn't go through yet.

NOTE: Do not buy the Nintendo Switch port of this game. That was incompetently handled by the developer Grip Digital and has major bugs even a year after the release. In my case, I was unable to progress from Act III to Act IV due to a persistent crash during the Burial Pit scripted interaction. Due to the inability of users to export their save games with how the Switch is locked down by Nintendo, the developer's advice was to delete all save games and start over. This was due to them having fixed several bugs that could have led to the corruption of save games, and i had started playing at initial release before those were patched. Since I had to start over from scratch, I decided to use the much more stable PC version instead of risking another broken run on the Switch port.
